 ABOUT THE COURSE


 

FORMAT


For those who have completed the introduction to Raja Yoga Meditation and wish to deepen their understanding and practice of the philosophy of life and arts of living that underpin the course. This course is a deep and practical study for dealing with life’s challenges positively, through an understanding of spiritual laws.

We will explore :

Secrets of Karma - The law of cause and effect. Good and bad karma and its
relationship to soul consciousness and body consciousness. Examining motivations and
intentions as the roots of actions. Understanding that the present is a product of the past
and so the future too is in our hands. A look at re-incarnation - an opportunity to learn
from the past. Understanding the meaning of “as you sow, so shall you reap”.


The Cycle of Time - Where am I going? Understanding eternity and the cyclic
nature of time. The Law of Entropy - understanding the process of energy change and
movement. How can time help me to change?


The Tree of Life - How are we related? The tree as the symbol of life and humanity
- understanding our relationships with each other and the world at large. Understanding
God as the Seed of the Tree - the Father of all religions.

Generally courses run once a week for 4 to 6 weeks, In some cases we are able to offer 1:1 classes.

Learn to meditate with just 4 sessions

Raja Yoga meditation is an open-eyed technique that can be used by anyone, anywhere - whilst you commute or at your desk, as well as at home. Whether you want to learn how to relax, need to be more concentrated and creative or are searching for personal enlightenment, this course can satisfy each of those needs.

Like any skill, meditation requires practice.  By doing a little every day, it soon becomes a natural and easy habit.

Explore how to:
• Make time & space for meditation to establish a daily practice
• Harness your thoughts, emotions and responses
• Use your meditation skills in everyday life

Courses run once a week for 4 weeks or in some cases as a stand alone seminar. Where necessary we may also be able to arrange 1:1's at mutually convenient times.

Thursdays 11:00am – 12:15pm
Thursdays 6:30pm – 7:45pm
4 weekly sessions
