Whatever my real world troubles are, the biggest and trickiest challenge I have to personally overcome is my own thinking, and the feelings of fear, doubt, uncertainty and sadness that make my heart heavy.
How can I keep the faith that there is light at the end of the tunnel when the future appears so dark? How can I keep my heart light, loving and generous when I feel that I have no more to give?
A journalist, producer and award winning documentary maker, Eric le Reste has been with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, CBC/Radio-Canada, for more than 30 years. Throughout his career, Eric has always maintained a special interest in spirituality and serves as the National Coordinator for the Brahma Kumaris in Canada. He participates in various international projects, including ‘Images and Voices of Hope,’ a project dedicated to inspiring new restorative narratives in the media.
